Getting Closer to your Mega Project Problem
Greetings Dear Readers, Peace be with you.
My Name is Haris, and here i’m writing this blog as a part of my Amal Fellowship Mega project for getting closer to my goal. We were been asked to identify any Problem,gap related to social welfare, or an entrepreneurial idea for business startup etc.
The Goal which best resonates with we was the idea of being an entrepreneurial/Business startup with my brother regarding to supply Lab Equipments, installation services and bring high quality lab machines from abroad to Pakistan for there best service.
Problem To Work On:
As per my findings and research with my brother, we find very few companies which are dealing in scientific lab equipment's, Installations, Machines and lack of quality repairing in Pakistan. Buyers or consumers like Universities, Research institutions and laboratories find it quite difficult to purchase quality services or it to reach it via any tender and its vendor. Also most of the time the products are even failed to be delivered in time, and due to the dollar price it often results in costliest purchasing. So coming up with the solution we decided to be launching our own startup to overcome this lack in our country and to provide best possible products for our consumer’s with its repairing options as well. This will help us to be engaging with better customer satisfaction and getting trustworthy in our field.
Action Plan To Do:
We have been in talks from different Companies abroad related to our work, and even offering them to become there official partners in Pakistan via engaging talks, agreements etc, in this way we together will be targeting our consumers for better facilitation and to provide them the best product with best possible price.
In continuation with this we recently have got our 1st project in Jan this year from Peoples University of Medical and Health Sciences For Women (PUMHSW) in Nawabshah where we delivered high quality Lab Equipment's in reasonable price within the shorter span of time in Newly established Laboratory . These equipment's were delivered by myself to the lab’s management.

Below are the few sample photos captured by me while delivering the product under my 1st Project to Peoples University of Medical and Health Sciences For Women (PUMHSW) in Nawabshah. The products also include Nitrogen Gas Generator and Hydrogen Gas Generator along with other important lab equipment's and machinery.
Process:
The time period is some times bigger, even sometimes it takes for more then 2 months as well. but here i will breaking down the few process steps in the business in which i’m engaged.
1- After getting order, from clients for a specific product we have to decide the price, keeping an eye via dollar up and down rates which results hugely in international market. Later on arranging doing the payment in Dollars timely.
2- Ordering and receiving product safely and timely. This stage requires intensive workout like paying different taxes to customs upon receiving the products clearly. Documenting the whole process in order to have the proof of product been legally purchased and cleared from customs.
3- Ensure to safely deliver the products in our Barn Storage, if delivering outside Karachi, or to Deliver the products on the same day if possible.
4- After delivering the product/services successfully, then client is liable to pay against the services he redeem from us, in order to ensure for a proper deal/agreement to be closed timely and successfully.
Benefits/Experience Gained:
Before joining and gaining this experience i was working in an private firm from 9–5 job, which was not satisfying for my own professional growth, no job security, no control on the bigger picture, lesser to learn and even office politics was in there most of the time. Today I’m Grateful to Almighty Allah to even having my own little startup with my Brother, which makes me to not take this opportunity for granted and work harder for achieving my goals.
After completion of my 1st successful project, i have gained much experience and benefits. i have now know how to be interacting in meeting with such organizations, knowledge about taxation, instruments and machinery clearing from customs and tax filing from FBR. This little interaction of success also has boosted my inner and outer confidence, know the value of communication skills and time management for proper handling.
I’m sure with upcoming more successful projects i will learning much more in a broader view with long term benefits, as i will be having the exposure of more aspects in my professional life.
